Hello, I m Alper. I teach Turkish to foreigners in Istanbul and online for those living abroad. Information about myself and my courses:
- Native Language: Turkish
- Education: Turkish Language and Literature (BA), Teaching Turkish to Foreigners (MA / Master of Education).
- Foreign Language Skills: Advanced English, beginner level of German. General knowledge about Arabic & Persian and Turkish common vocabulary. Basic knowledge of Arabic grammar rules.
- Experience: 10 years of national and international experience (TÖMER, Eramus Turkish Culture Courses, Yunus Emre Institute abroad experience)
- Different age groups, including adults, different levels (Beginner to advanced, A1-C1), experience of working with different nationalities
- Materials: Turkish for foreigners coursebooks, practical self learning boks and my own materials
- A good communication specialist. Understanding different cultures.
- Games and word activities when necessary.
- Approach: Developing four language skills but focusing on speaking and writing for General Turkish classes.
- Sociable: I love my job. Its my “Professional hobby”. I have been in contact with the foreigners for many years. You will have fun in my classes if you like foreign languages. I’m helpful, my students are my friends. I am always open to help them in their daily life in Turkey when asked from me.
And my job is to teach Turkish only. I m NOT an English, German, Spanish or Arabic teacher to Turkish pepole who just takes advantage of “translation”. My service is what my education and experiences about. I love to do it. You can call or text me for a meeting to talk about lessons and your needs.
