My name is Piero. I come from Venice and I lived many years in Germany and England. Teaching Italian is one of my life’s passion (along with art), and I have been teaching students of all ages for years. I graduated at the University of Venice and I studied in Florence (PhD in Art History). I am a professional Italian teacher (CEDILS) and English teacher (CELTA) and I believe it is important to be highly qualified to teach a language successfully. My years of experience as a teacher in England and now in Turkey have helped me form a teaching approach that guides how I help my students succeed in learning. I do believe that their success begins in making them comfortable and I always encourage them to share their questions and opinions in an open and relaxed environment. We all never stop learning, I always feel I have to improve my skills and develop my teaching techniques according to the latest standards. Also for this reason, I have recently started a Master in “Didactics and promotion of the Italian language and culture to foreigners”.
