Hello! I’m Selver Sezen, a native Turkish tutor with a Master’s and PhD degree in Turkish Language and Literature (New Turkish Language). I also hold a certificate in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. For about three years, I have been teaching Turkish to international students at different levels, from A1 to C1. In my lessons, my goal is not only to teach grammar but to help students use Turkish comfortably in both daily life and academic contexts. Therefore, I design each lesson according to the student’s level, needs, interests, and learning goals. What do we do in lessons? -Speaking practice and fluency development -Clear and simple grammar explanations -Personalized lesson plans (A1–C1) -Daily and academic Turkish I work with students of different age groups and adopt a communication-based teaching approach. Through interactive activities and personalized materials, I aim to create a balanced and lasting learning process. If you want to improve your Turkish, speak more fluently, and express yourself more confidently, we can start an effective and enjoyable learning journey together. I worked as a lecturer in the Core Program at Kadir Has University (2020–2024), where I taught Turkish Critical Reading and Writing. I also worked as a part-time instructor at FMV Işık University Turkish Coordination Unit (2018–2020). In addition, I have experience teaching Turkish and literature to different age groups and have been giving online Turkish lessons to international students for about three years. In our first lesson, we will assess your level, discuss your goals, and create a personalized learning plan. You will also experience my teaching style, and we can decide how to continue our lessons.
